The new UPM Bioforce Graduate Programme is designed to offer a fast-paced and versatile development opportunity at UPM to the recently graduated from different fields of study. The application period starts 15 December 2016 and ends 31 January 2017 and the assignments will start in August and September 2017.
The programme lasts 18 months and consists of work in the base location and three to four separate assignments, located in different UPM business areas and functions. One of these assignments, with a minimum length of three months, is located in another country. The home base of the assignment can be Finland, China, Germany, Russia or Uruguay. The nature of the assignments varies according to current business needs and location.
In addition to working the graduates undergo four modules of training and a personal development plan is made for each graduate, they are also assigned a UPM mentor. The versatile tasks, experience from different business areas and functions and work in another country combined with the training and a supporting mentoring relationship provides a unique, international learning experience.
On the lookout for active and open-minded people
The positions in the Bioforce Graduate Programme are all individual and demand different backgrounds in studies and different language skills. A person always applies for a specific position, not the whole programme. Good skills in English and a recent graduation are a prerequisite for all who apply. Previous experience from an international environment is a plus, but not a must.
With the Bioforce Graduate Programme UPM hopes to find bright people with fresh knowledge and an open and positive attitude. Most importantly UPM wishes to find candidates that can take the company values – Trust and Be Trusted, Achieving Together and Renew with Courage – to their heart.
